Many of our sixth year and repeat students apply to study medicine. We feel it is important to assist them in preparation for HPAT examinations. We offer timetabled HPAT Classes to our full-time students. Preparation in small class groups is given on a weekly basis for both the Irish and Ulster HPAT examinations.
HPAT Preparation Tutorials – Saturdays 9.20am to 10.50am from 8th Nov – 14th Feb
Leinster Senior College will commence HPAT tutorials on 8th Nov 2025 for 12 weeks in preparation for the HAPT examination due to take place February 2026.
All sections of the course will be covered to include Logical Reasoning and Problem Solving, Interpersonal Understanding and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
While the course is specifically for Leinster Senior College students, there are a limited number of places available to external students.

Registrations for HPAT – Ireland 2026 opens in early November 2025.
HPAT-Ireland test will run across a number of days in February 2026. Dates have not been confirmed at this stage.
The test will be conducted online via remote proctoring and test takers will select a time and day that suits them to sit the test.
HPAT-Ireland is only conducted once a year, so this will be the only time you will be able to sit in 2026.
The duration of the test is 2 ½ hours. If you are an applicant to UL you will also have to complete an additional one-hour Written English component.
